Most PDFSimple tools accept PDF files as input. Conversion tools also accept Word documents (DOCX), images (JPG, PNG, TIFF, WEBP), and other formats depending on the tool.
Input formats
- PDF (.pdf) — accepted by all tools.
- Word (.docx) — accepted by Word to PDF and similar converters.
- Images (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, .tiff, .webp) — accepted by Image to PDF and image extraction tools.
- PowerPoint (.pptx) and Excel (.xlsx) — accepted by the respective to-PDF converters.
Output formats
- PDF — the primary output for most tools.
- DOCX — output of PDF to Word conversion.
- JPG / PNG — output of PDF to Image conversion.
- ZIP — used when multiple output files are produced (e.g., split pages).
File size limits
- Starter plan: up to 50 MB per file.
