Account Security
Secure your PDFSimple account with a strong password, Google sign-in, and best practices for managing your sessions.
Your PDFSimple account protects access to your files, API keys, billing, and subscription. Follow these practices to keep it secure.
Sign-in options
- Email and password — set a strong, unique password of at least 8 characters.
- Google sign-in — link your Google account for one-click login without a separate password.
Password requirements
Passwords must be at least 8 characters. We recommend using a passphrase or a password manager to generate and store a unique, high-entropy password.
Never reuse your PDFSimple password on other sites. If you suspect your password has been compromised, change it immediately in Settings → Security.
Changing your password
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Security.
- Enter your current password and then your new password.
- Click Save. All existing sessions (except the current one) are signed out.
Signing out of all sessions
If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, go to Settings → Security → Sign out of all sessions. This revokes all active session tokens immediately.
PDFSimple uses invisible reCAPTCHA on authentication pages to protect against automated login attacks.
